The Foundation started a livelihood program to empower women from economically backward areas by imparting vocational training.
We opened a tailoring training center in the state of Assam, India where women are taught to stitch clothes to earn a livelihood. This has increased the self-confidence of women and contributed to gender equality.
~ 1300 poor women who have trained over the last 3 years at our center.
